Our story so far

We celebrated our launch on Monday 1st March 2017 with family, friends and dignitaries.

Thank you to Matt Doocey, Anne Galloway (the Mayors representative) Penny and Tania from St Vincent de Paul and Robyn from The Salvation Army for joining us in this celebration.

Since our launch we have been busy at speaking engagements at various community groups and approaching businesses in Christchurch, seeking support, either in the way of new items or financial donations.

St Bede’s College

St Bede’s College have come on board and are organising a two day sporting event with Marian College, Villa Maria College and Boys High.  This major event is being held at St Bede’s College in June.  This event has the potential to be huge and we are excited and grateful to have these four prominent schools in Christchurch on board.

Ohoka School

Caleb Lilley, a year 7 student from Ohoka School is organising a fundraising mufti day next term with all the proceeds being donated to our Charity. Caleb thought up this idea and approached us to ask if we were happy for him to move forward his idea.  This show of empathy warms our hearts and is very appreciation by us.

Vintage High Tea
